Since the latest anti insurgency operation of the Myanmar Army in Rakhain, more than three hundred thousand Rohingyas have fled to Bangladesh. The new refugees arrived in Bangladesh on top of the estimated 400,000 Rohingyas who are believed to already be staying in Bangladesh. According to the top UN human rights official, after attacks carried out by the Rohingya Militants on dozens of border posts and an army base, Myanmar’s treatment of its Muslim Rohingya minority appears to be a “textbook example” of ethnic cleansing.

Rohingyas and rights groups have accused the Myanmar army of burning down villages, killing and raping, but Naypyitaw has rejected the allegations. People from across Bangladesh have joined hand with the locals of Teknaf and Ukhiya to help refugees who have crossed the borders since the latest chapter in the Rohingyua crisis unfolded on August 25 2017.

Here’s my take on this :

1.So what label will you pick to end human lives today?
2.Aung San Suu Kyi denies ethnic cleansing in Myanmar despite the UN reports into mass killings of Rohingya Muslims. How many more lives will it take?
3.Myanmar army continues to push the #Rohingya into Bangladesh while international community keeps looking away. This is not the first time and where is the assurance that it won’t happen again?
4.A call out to the world Leaders! There’s a genocide happening in plain sight. It’s high time you start acting.
5.Three Hundred Thousand and counting.
6. Bangladesh welcomes 300,000 rohingya refugees.
