Winter Mornings.

On winter mornings, the streets of Dhaka take on a distinct look. From day laborers to school-going kids to those with white collar jobs, you see people shiver on their way. From trendy jacket wearing youngsters to rickshaw pullers wrapping themselves up in threadbare clothes — the streets of Dhaka in the morning provide you with a sea of materials from which to draw.

With a little bit of observation you can see how tea-stalls on every alley are more crowded than any other month. Frequent smoking and tea-drinking habits demonstrate everyone’s interest in enjoying a bit of warmth even in the busiest hours. Here are a few pages from my sketchbook from this winter. If this interests you, I suggest you too should go out on the streets with a sketchbook and pen in the morning while the winter is still here.
